Job Title: Fundraising Support - Venture Debt 

Location: Remote Company

Overview:

Our client is a leading SaaS company dedicated to lowering emissions through AI. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fundraising Advisor to assist them with their upcoming venture debt raise.

Job Summary:

The advisor will play a crucial role in supporting fundraising efforts. This position requires a candidate with a strong understanding of venture debt raises including EIB and EIF financing, financial modelling skills, the ability to manage investor DD processes and create investor materials as required. The advisor will closely with C-suite throughout.

The role will be remote and is expected to require a minimum commitment of 4 days a week for at least 5-6 months starting in Q1.

Some initial support work may be required before current year end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Review: Thoroughly review the existing financial model to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy.
  • Investor Materials: Prepare review and distribute investor materials including pitch decks financial statements and other relevant documents.
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist in coordinating due diligence processes ensuring all required information is provided accurately and promptly.
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between internal teams and external investors.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of all investor interactions and document submissions
  • Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies

Key skills:

  • Strong understanding of venture debt raises and fundraising processes.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and investor materials preferred

Qualifications: Experience working with venture debt banks and EIB amd EIF finance providers. Knowledge of SaaS business models and metrics.
