Interim Private Equity/M&A Advisor German (ESCO/HVAC)

ReachX are recruiting an Interim Private Equity/M&A Executive Advisor to assist to do market screening, introduce the client to opportunities and help with due diligence of acquisition targets within the Germany Energy Service  Companies Mittelstand Sector (ESCO/HVAC).

The project can be done remotely or directly with the client based in Germany, France and has the flexibility to be scheduled on the candidates availability. This role could also be offered on a retainer basis.

The key deliverables of the role are to conduct:

- Introduce potential M&A opportunities in the German Energy Services & Energy Contracting market  (Revenue target Eur10-150M)

- Assist in the investment due diligence of targets

Examples of potential acquisition companies could include:

- HVAC heating, ventilation, air-conditioning & cooling installation and maintenance

- Energy Performance Contracts and or Energy Contracting

- Design, construction, ownership and operation of decentralised power generation assets such as biomass or CHP natural gas and or district heating networks

Previous experience required includes:

- Strong knowledge of the Energy Services  Energy Contracting market in the Germany market structure, types of companies active in the space, common types of contracts, competition, regulation and regional differences

· Current or former employees in the energy contracting space in Germany. For example, companies could be Getec, Urbana, Techem, Steag, Cofely, Kofler Energy, utilities with energy contracting EON, RWE, ENBW or Stadtwerke.

· Executive level Business Development and/or M&A experience

· German Speaking 

This interim assignment can be based remote and the work schedule is dependent upon the advisor. This includes being a purely telephone based assignment to being on site but can be flexible based on the requirements of the advisor.
